A graduate with major in philosophy, I was always inclined to vent out my creative instincts. Art and design being my forte and my insatiable quest to attain something more challenging lead to enrolling for specialization and thus made a significant stride by completing two year Fashion Accessory Design course from London Institute of Fashion Design. The intense, rigorous and specialized course not only gave me a detailed view of production techniques & processes but also honed my visualization skills. The course gave me an in-depth knowledge of genuine leather products, finer points of making and analyzing specification sheets and know-how of a range of fabrics. I put time management and multi-tasking, which are integral parts of fashion domain, to practice while pursuing the program in design. I worked as a visual merchandiser and also worked with a British designer simultaneously. Later, with expertise and training in accessory design, I rendered services to an export house in Mumbai for two years. Working as a fashion accessory designer gave a tremendous boost to my capabilities. This opportunity made me aware of the Indian fashion scenario and the one to one interaction with elite clientele made me more quality conscious and target driven. I truly believe that the real challenge lies in how effective you can mould your creative idea into practicality. This job provided a platform to prove my very belief. Finesse in product design, co-ordination in execution, expanded my outlook thus preparing me now to cross new milestones…
